Webcast on "The Politics of Science" Today

Later today (Thursday), London's Dana Centre will offer a live webcast of an event entitled "The Politics of Science". the event, and the webcast, will begin at 7:00 pm GMT (2:00 pm EST) and will feature Michael Stebbins (who will be appearing in Oxford on Friday) as well as Michael Frew from the UK Department of Technology and Industry and Bob Ward from the Royal Society. Addressing topics ranging from the relationship between politics and science and the democratization of science policy to the US's fading position of dominance in world science, it promises to inform and entertain.
